What the Samaritan Woman at the Well Teaches Us about Judgmental Behavior

In yesterday's sermon, our pastor talked about the reputation that Christians have for being judgmental. Alas, I don't think that personality trait is limited to Christians. He then visited the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. What would have happened if Jesus had been judgmental? She certainly wouldn't have told her whole village about him. What an opportunity would have been lost!

How hard it is to refrain from being judgmental. How hard it is to love people where they are. But that's our task as disciples.
